•Tortuga Tile Works offers several options for payment. Customers can pay online using Paypal money transfer, and with Visa or MC by telephone in conjunction with a signed authorization. Tortuga Tile Works will accept checks as a payment made payable to “Tortuga Tile Works”, but will not commence the project or ship an order until the check clears the bank. There is a $30.00 charge for all returned checks, plus any bank fees, attorney’s fees and costs incurred by Tortuga Tile Works as a result of attempts to collect on any such returned check.

•Here at Tortuga Tile Works, we continually strive to improve our product lines. The pieces represented here are made by press molding clay into molds, firing the tiles once in a bisque kiln and a second time in a glaze kiln. Most of the glazes are made from scratch. Due to this process there may be some slight variance in color and texture in the finished piece as compared to the representative photo. However, we strive to maintain a high level of quality and try to produce uniformity in items.

How much will it cost?
We can adjust any custom project to fit within your budget. Tortuga Tiles can be added as accents for as little as a few hundred dollars or we can create an entire room for you for several thousand dollars. It is actually quite comparable to other surface finishes. Fill out our quote request form and get an estimate and layout and see for yourself.
Pricing varies with size, intricacy and glaze decisions. Quote will be devised based on sample decisions.
Basic pricing structure is as follows:

Small orders of regular stock tiles take approximately 3 weeks to make if they are not currently in stock. Larger custom orders need a lead time of 8-12 weeks.
